Merkel: ‘We determine our policies independently’

Responding to US President Donald Trump's accusation that "Germany is captive to Russia," German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that having experienced part of Germany under Soviet control, she is very happy that a now united Germany can determine its policies independently.
