Former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf receives Africa leadership award

Former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf received the 2017 Mo Ibrahim award at a ceremony in Rwanda on Friday (April 27). The award is designed to improve the quality of African political leadership, after handing over power in her country's first peaceful democratic transition in seven decades.
