Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson has been suspended for 25 games without pay for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy. The ban comes after Thompson tested positive for the growth hormone ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033, which is used for muscle enhancement.

USAID to slowly resume food aid to Ethiopia after suspension in June over fraud. The renewed aid comes after follows reforms put in place by the Ethiopian government and agency partners to improve food distribution. But USAID will keep most operations suspended after concerns of systematic diversion of aid.

The central Mexican city of Celaya has become the scene of a brutal turf war between rival drug cartels. These criminal groups have taken advantage of its strategic position at the crossroads for transporting drugs into the United States.
