Ethiopian refugees fleeing the Tigray war and taking shelter in the Eastern Sudanese Hamdayet camp complained about a dangerous lack of water and food on Saturday. Though people living in Hamdayet Border Reception Centre get food aid from government and international organisations, they are struggling daily lack of drinking water.

States in Nigeria, especially those in the country’s south, may still be feeling the effects of the weeklong strike by the AUFCDN as the price of food stuff is yet to go back to normal. The most important question is how does this affect Nigerians and what lessons did the country as whole learnt from this strike?⁣ However, prices of food in the market have continued to remain high even after lifting the blockade.
