In the US, the country with the highest recorded cases of coronavirus, 5G is fairly limited, while Iran and some African countries in which the virus has spread to do not have 5G installed. In Nigeria, 5G was launched for trials in November 2019 but Africa’s most populous country has recorded one of the lowest cases of the virus globally. In fact, most cases confirmed in Nigeria were from people who flew in from abroad. So why do some still believe that 5G is responsible for COVID-19?
