The American flag was removed from the U.S. consulate building in St Petersburg on Saturday evening (March 31). Earlier in the day men could be seen carrying bags and boxes out of the building and loading them into a truck. Moscow ordered the closure of U.S. consulate in St Petersburg and the expulsion of 60 U.S. diplomats on Thursday (March 29).
