Every year, on May 31st, the World Health Organisation (WHO) celebrates World No-Tobacco Day to draw global attention to the dangers caused by smoking tobacco. This year, the WHO seeks to advocate for strong tobacco cessation policies, increase access to cessation services, raise awareness of tobacco industry tactics, and empower tobacco users through its “quit & win” initiatives.
