Sexist jokes are jokes that discriminate based on a persons sex or gender. Women and girls are often the subjects of sexist jokes. Though sexist jokes are presented as harmless humour, they have a hostile subtext that further validates Gender stereotypes and supports Patriarchal beliefs in our society.
