Recently, Ini-Ubong Umoran, in the course of a purported job interview, was murdered. The prime suspect is a man identified as Uduak Frank Akpan who had lured her with a job offer on social media. Her gruesome death is a pointer to the growing need to raise awareness about online fraudsters and predators who disguise as recruiters to dupe, rape, and murder.
