Kunle Adeyanju rode for 12,000 kilometres and through 13 countries to raise funds for eliminating polio. He also spent time sensitizing communities along the way from London to Lagos about the disease. GuardianTV sat with the rider to discuss how the long journey went through.
Polio cases are on the rise in Pakistan although it's an illness eradicated almost everywhere else in the world. Part of the problem is widespread vaccine skepticism and outlandish conspiracy theories.

Rotary International says Nigeria is on track to totally eliminating polio from the country. The group disclosed this in Port Harcourt during the installation of Nze Anizor as the new Governor of Rotary's District 9141.
