Law enforcement officers and members of the public rescued a 23-year-old undocumented immigrant and his two-year-old son who were struggling in the Salinity Canal near the US-Mexico border in Arizona, according to a news release from US Customs and Border Protection. The father and his son were trying to swim across the canal when they got swept away by the rapid current.
