The coronavirus pandemic, climate crisis and conflicts have pushed more than half a million people to the brink of starvation, Oxfam reported. Cutting new military spending by less than 20% would end global hunger.
Campaigners from UK-based anti-poverty organisation Oxfam pose as G7 leaders wearing swimsuits and relaxing on deckchairs on a beach in Falmouth, 25 miles away from the venue of the G7 summit in Cornwall. They're calling G7 countries to commit to cutting carbon emissions and to help vulnerable countries better respond to climate change.
