In an interview with FRANCE 24, Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray said Mexico would not help finance the border wall proposed by US President Donald Trump. “The wall is a decision made by the US (…) What I can assert categorically is that we are not involved in this dialogue, we never negotiated with the US to talk about a wall,” Videgaray told FRANCE 24.

Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray said in Washington that Mexico had agreed with U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to continue with a "serious" renegotiation process of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
