Organizers unveiled 20 contestants for Season 12 of the show on Sunday, September 26 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos. Tagged 'The Age of Craftmanship, the show, the winner of the new seasons will walk away with N50 Million naira cash prize. The new seasons will be anchored by a former winner and actor, Kunle Remi.

The Breton island of Rouzic harbours a variety of animals like gannets, puffins and seals, and is part of the Sept-Iles Nature Reserve, which is due to be expanded in 2022 to better protect these endangered species. But new restrictions will have an impact on fishermen and tourist activities, and nearly twenty groups oppose the move.
