Hooray, the bad hair months have come to an end! Hairdressers and barbers, closed since December to help stop the spread of the coronavirus, are reopening.

India has extended its national lockdown until the end of May, and while it has had more confirmed cases of Covid-19 than China it’s had fewer deaths. The lockdown was extended following clashes between citizens and police. According to the Hindu, some rules will be relaxed with transport, hairdressers and online shopping deliveries resuming. The Hindu’s editors, however, are calling for vigilance as they say the death toll is likely to rise in the coming weeks.
