Eritrean refugees in Ethiopia were forced to flee their camp in Ethiopia's Tigray region when Prime Minister Abyi Ahmed's forces launched a military operation. They now live in Mai Aini camp, one of two refugee camps in southern Tigray where the UN has regained access.

A passion for cycling has reunited a group of friends separated by the war in Eritrea. The African Refugee Cycling Team was founded in neighbouring Ethiopia. Now they hope to raise the cash to allow them to take part in international competition.
