A petition calling for the ban of the consumption of dog meat in Nigeria has garnered thousands of signatures online. Titled “Stop Nigeria’s Barbaric Dog Meat Industry,” the petition seeks a ban and shutdown of the dog meat trade industry in Nigeria.
