Gaynor Georgiou, 77, is a British national known as the 'cat lady' of Cyprus. Everyday she visits eight selected spots to feed the felines of Paphos, come rain or shine. Georgiou, who has consistently looked after around 160 daily cats for the last 32 years, relies mostly on her own money to provide the cat food, water and medical assistance. She also receives donations, but these have suffered recently due to the coronavirus and the lack of tourists.

The black cat appears through the thick smoke at a broken window and pauses for a second before taking the plunge. Onlookers gasp as the cat falls gracefully through the air before landing on his feet with a bounce on the grass.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki assures the world's media that the Bidens' dogs won't be away from the White House for long, saying their banishment to Delaware was planned before a "biting incident" involving one of the hounds, and they will return "soon". She adds that there's no plan to replace them with a cat, yet.
