The "Taxi Universitario" was created by the taxi drivers' association of Angola. Drivers take students to campus and bring them back home for a fixed montly fee. If there is demand, the association plans to implement it in other cities.

Angola’s government is confident that the International Monetary Fund will disburse the next tranche of money from its $3.7 billion program. Aia-Eza Nacilia Gomes Da Silva, budget state secretary in the Finance Ministry said the recent second disbursement of about $248 million, which brought the total to about $1.24 billion was big accomplishment. She spoke with Bloomberg Television's Manus Cranny at the World Economic Forum in Cape Town.
