Headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Anambra State has been set ablaze by gunmen.They also attempted to attack the Police ‘B’ Divisional Headquarters close to the INEC office but were repelled by the operatives on duty.

Floods across 10 states of Nigeria have killed 100 people, a spokesman for the country's emergency and disasters agency said on Monday (September 17). Heavy rains in recent days has resulted in a national disaster in four states - Kogi, Niger, Anambra and Delta, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said.
