USA Olympic Champion Kalisz says winning gold is a “weird feeling”

American swimmer Chase Kalisz, who won gold in the 400m individual medley at the Tokyo Olympics, says it "hasn't really hit" him that he's an Olympic champion, and that it will "take some time to really process what happened".

Nodirbek Abdusattorov, 17, dethroned Magnus Carlsen as World Rapid Chess Champion in Warsaw on Tuesday by beating Ian Nepomniachtchi in a tiebreaker. Abdusattorov won the title along with a prize of $60,000 (€53,0444). Abdusattorov only lost one match, against the Ukrainian Anton Korobov, and tied in five others.
