LeBron James has become the highest point scorer in NBA history. Here is how some of his fellow stars reacted to him making history. Some knew the record was about to fall as soon as they saw James’ pregame fit and headband. James’ NBA peers were some of the first to congratulate him on breaking the record.

He also accused Nike – the NBA's main sponsor – of "modern slavery" in China. Ahead of the Beijing Olympics, Freedom called on athletes to make their voices heard, saying the diplomatic boycott was "good but not enough".
