For this group of young Angolans, the skateboard opens the door to a world of learning, self-knowledge and fun. In Angola, skaters complain of a lack of public and private support, yet they manage to hold independent events on a sport that grows year by year.

Angola’s government is confident that the International Monetary Fund will disburse the next tranche of money from its $3.7 billion program.
