British Princes William and Harry will put their differences aside on Thursday (July 1) to unveil a statue to their late mother Princess Diana on what would have been her 60th birthday. Kenyan runner Agnes Tirop, a rising star in Kenya's athletics scene, was buried on Saturday (October 23) at a funeral attended by more than 1,000 people. Tirop was found stabbed to death in her home in the Rift Valley town of Iten on October 13, in an incident that has shone the spotlight on violence against women in Kenya.
