Olympic champion Michael Johnson told Reuters on Wednesday (May 1) that while the Caster Semanya ruling was a difficult one, ultimately the governing body came down on the side of fairness. Johnson was sympathetic toward the South African middle-distance runner saying the situation was no fault of her own.
