At least 22 people, including children, were killed and another eight were wounded after a passenger coach plunged into a ravine in the Pakistani zone of Kashmir on Wednesday (November 3) local police said. Among the dead were two children aged nine and four years, a prayer leader and a Pakistan army soldier, said Rashid Naeem Khan, a senior police official in divisional headquarters Poonch. He said the coach was on its way to the garrison city of Rawalpindi when the crash happened.

Argentina captain Lionel Messi is fit again and will start their World Cup qualifier at home to Brazil on Tuesday, coach Lionel Scaloni told reporters on Monday (November 15).
Scaloni made similar comments ahead of Argentina’s last game, a 1-0 win against Uruguay on Friday, although Messi only appeared for the final 14 minutes of the match.
Argentina are second in South America’s 10-team qualifying group, six points behind Brazil, who are the only team from the region to have secured their place at Qatar 2022 so far.

Manchester United have made contact with former Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde about becoming the club's interim manager, according to media report. United are looking for an interim manager to suceed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Valverde, 57, is one of a few candidates being considered. Valverde has been out of work since leaving Barcelona in January 2020.
