Addressing the fight against Islamic State overseas, U.S. President Donald Trump told a White House news conference on Tuesday that his administration has made more progress than "the previous administration made in eight years."

Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick won the U.S. Open at The Country Club by one shot over world number one Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris on Sunday to claim his first major title.
