Search for survivors of California mudslide enters third day

With at least 17 people confirmed dead and some 43 people still missing, rescue workers are searching through mud and debris for signs of life in Southern California.

At least 13 people have been killed in Southern California mudslides and that number is likely to increase as rescue workers comb through the debris, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown told a news conference on Tuesday.
