The pontiff is visiting Bulgaria, which could prove a touchy affair, as the country’s Orthodox Church is not on the best of terms with Rome. But he is popular with the people in both countries.

Footage shows Diego Armando Maradona Junior and his family arriving at the consulate. “Today was a very emotional day. I got really excited. It is a dream come true. Pastry chef Walter Musco turns his shop in Rome's working-class Tor Marancia district into an art gallery displaying Easter eggs sculpted in hommage to great names from the worlds of art and literature.
