During the US midterm elections, not everything went smoothly for voters in Maricopa County, Arizona. In the early hours of Election Day, at least 20 percent of voting machines in the county experienced technical problems. Right-wing media and angry voters were quick to spread misinformation on the issue. We tell you more in this edition of Truth or Fake.

Since Russia's parliamentary elections earlier this week, dozens of videos have been circulating online claiming to show incidents of voter fraud. Our journalists contacted a man appearing in one video – he says he was prevented from participating in vote counting. However, BBC's Russian language service claims that through facial recognition technology, they have ascertained that actors participated in a video shown by the Electoral Commission. That video was supposed to show how fake scenes of voter fraud were being manufactured.

The monsoon rains had reportedly blown the floodgates off their hinges where now they hang rotting away. The Biden administration has begun cancelling the border wall project in Texas, a main focal point of former President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign.
