Archaeologists in Peru have unearthed three 19th century mummies of Chinese immigrants buried 3.2 feet deep in the Lima district of Carabayllo.

The world's oldest known cases of breast cancer and multiple myeloma have been discovered in the remains of mummies in the pharaonic necropolis of Qubbet el-Hawa in the Egyptian city of Aswan.
