Las Vegas gears up for reopening amid pandemic

Plexiglas barriers on blackjack tables, hand sanitizer near slot machines: this is the new normal in Las Vegas, where hotel and casinos are preparing to reopen on June 4, after a 11-week shutdown. Night clubs and show arenas are still closed, but “Vegas is still Vegas” according to MGM International Resorts president and CEO William Hornbuckle.
