How a student is taking on environmental problems

Oluwaseyi Moejoh is committed to making Nigeria a cleaner place. Lagos is choking in garbage and it is a threat to the environment and health. The student hopes her U-recycle initiative will make a change.

In recent weeks, students in France have been protesting against rising living costs, while over in the UK, many support the Labour Party's campaign promise to scrap university tuition fees and bring back student grants. A similar system is currently in place in Denmark. Students there get free tuition, plus €750 a month. Police in Ogun State has paraded three suspects arrested for the killing of a final year student of the Lagos State University for ritual purpose. They are 23-year-old, Owolabi Adeeko, his mother Bola Adeeko and a pastor of a white garment church, Segun Philip, who was alleged to have led the ritual process.
