Hospital on French island of Tahiti uses seawater for air conditioning

From the depths of the Pacific Ocean comes an innovation in air conditioning that's good for the planet and saves money. Located just 200 metres from the ocean, the hospital in Papeete, on the French island of Tahiti, is using seawater to cool its facilities. The switch to this new system has decreased the hospital's energy consumption by 90 percent.

In an interview with FRANCE 24, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna confirmed an attack from Russian forces on a children's hospital in the city of Mariupol, saying "there is no doubt this has been a targeted attack". She also warned that Russia had shut off the Chernobyl nuclear plant and claimed that this was part of a series of reckless actions that increase the threat of a nuclear accident.
