Focus on acoustics as frantic search for missing sub continues

Underwater noises heard during the frantic search for the Titan submersible have sparked fresh hope of finding the missing vessel. The sounds were picked up by a Canadian aircraft using buoys with underwater sonar capabilities. Remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) were then deployed to further investigate the origin of the "banging" sounds, but have yielded no results so far.
