Colombia to offer temporary protected status to 1mn Venezuelan migrants

Colombia has announced that it will temporarily normalize the status of almost one million undocumented Venezuelan migrants.

Many of the migrants currently languishing at the Poland-Belarus border come from Iraq. Most of them hail from the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan in the north of the country.
