Biden says spoke to Netanyahu, hopes Israel violence ending ‘sooner than later’

US President Joe Biden says that Israel has a right to defend itself, but after speaking with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he hopes violent clashes with Palestinians will end "sooner than later." He adds that his national security staff has also spoken with the Egyptians, Saudis and Emiratis.
