Asia Bibi reunites with family in Canada: reports

The lawyer of the Pakistani Christian accused of blasphemy said Bibi and her husband had arrived in Canada. He did not disclose the exact time of her departure and how she had left Pakistan, citing security reasons.

In Canada, wildfires continue to devastate the western province of Alberta. Thousands of people have had no choice but to leave their homes, and many more are on evacuation alert. The province has declared a state of emergency, while firefighters are attempting to bring the blazes under control.
