Alleged Colombian drug cartel member arrested at his wedding

Moments before tying the knot, a suspected member of the 'Clan del Golfo' drug cartel is arrested at his wedding in a church in Antioquia, Colombia. Luis Daniel Santana, alias 'Machete', has been wanted by authorities since 2017 and had allegedly been avoiding them in the mountains of Antioquia, but intelligence officers determined that the 24-year-old would come out of hiding to attend his wedding.

It's being hailed a “historic victory” by campaigners, as Colombia becomes the latest Latin American nation to decriminalise early abortions for all women. Terminations will now be permitted in the first 24 weeks of pregnancy, having previously only been possible in limited circumstances, such as in cases of rape, or if there was a risk to the mother's health.
