NAFDAC drug seizure – agency pushes for stricter penalties for offenders

The former president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez, is being held on drugs charges three weeks after leaving office. He is wanted by the United States for alleged ties to narcotics trafficking. Mr. Hernandez denies any wrongdoing.

US gold medal Olympian Brittney Griner is on trial in Russia after police allegedly found cannabis vape canisters in her luggage. The basketball star said she had no intention of breaking the law.
