Efforts to encourage Nigerians to give blood

Nigeria’s health ministry says only 10 percent of Nigerians donate blood freely while 60 percent do so commercially and the other 30 percent donate to their relatives. Temie Giwa-Tubosun, Founder of Lifebank joins CNBC Africa to discuss ways to encourage blood donation among Nigerians.

In 2021, the rejection rate for visas for French-speaking African students was close to 70%. A processing software used by the ministry called Chinook was also targeted by the group.
