Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has declared that the devastating attack on Rivers State Judiciary on Friday is an attempt by the Police and the All Progressive Congress (APC ) to overthrow the Rivers State Government.

In Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, unidentified security personnel stormed the home of former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Joi Nunieh.
Their bid to pick up the former NDDC boss without an arrest warrant was however thwarted by the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike who came to her rescue before whisking her away to the safety of Government House, Port Harcourt.
