Every day, thousands of people move to the Nigerian city of Lagos. Many of them come from rural areas in the hope of finding work and a better life. But the swelling population is putting the city under intense pressure.

A helicopter crashed into a building in the Oba Akran Ikeja area of Lagos State and burst into flames on Tuesday. Our correspondent gathered that the incident happened at about 3:30 pm.Though two people believed to be the pilots of the helicopter were rescued, it is not clear how many passengers were on board.
