Four people have died in the Senegal's worst unrest in years. Those clashes sparked by the arrest of opposition leader Ousmane Sonko. Kenya launches its vaccination campaign, as countries across the continent urge for vaccine fairness in the fight against the pandemic. And as Ivory's coast's opposition eyes a comeback in Saturday's legislative election, our guest Jessica Moody tonight tells us more about whether the country can hope for national reconciliation anytime soon.

Senegal is set to face Burkina Faso in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday. Both teams held training sessions in Yaounde on Tuesday as they prepare for a battle to reach the final. Senegal coach Aliou Cisse said it was high time Senegal bring home some hardware adding that he thinks his team has the talent to do so.

The Lions of Teranga reign supreme! Senegal have put a new name on the AFCON trophy after beating Egypt 4-2 on penalties. It was a final of the goalkeepers as Senegal's Edouard Mendy and Egypt's Mohamed Abou Gabal, aka Gabaski, made some stunning saves to keep out the opposition. Gabal in particular thwarted a 5th minute Sadio Mané penalty. But after no team could be separated after 120 minutes, Mané made amends from the penalty spot to send his team into delirium. Jean-Emile Jammine is joined by Sports Editor Simon Harding, Sports Reporter James Vasina and Eurosport's Ruben Slagter for this special edition.
