Morocco rescuers dig to save 5-year-old boy trapped in well

In Morocco, rescuers are racing against the clock to save a young boy trapped in a well for almost three days. Five-year-old Rayan fell down a 32-metre deep well on Tuesday. Search crews have begun excavating a horizontal tunnel to reach him, but shaky soil is threatening the rescue operation.

In Mexico, rescue workers are scrambling to save the lives of ten workers trapped in a coal mine. A section of the mine became flooded and collapsed on Wednesday. It is thought the miners accidentally triggered the flooding during tunneling work.
