Nigerian payments startup, Paystack, founded in 2015 by Shola Akinlade and Ezra Olubi, has been acquired by US payment giant, Stripe.
The acquisition, valued at over $200 million, happened two years after Stripe led an $8 million Series A financing round for Paystack, and it is the biggest startup acquisition so far in Nigeria.
