Nigeria has secured a new set of military gear and they are massive. The Nigerian Army recently unveiled 60 new VP1 Type Tracked Armoured Personnel Carriers to expand it armory.

Two people died after a seven-storey building under construction collapsed in Nigeria's commercial capital Lagos in the early hours of Sunday and rescue efforts were underway to find survivors, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency said.

Lagos once again recorded another building collapse on Sunday, September 4th, 2020. In the latest incident, a seven-story building still under construction in the expensive neighbourhood of Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, collapsed during a heavy downpour. Two bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of the building, while some are still trapped days later.

This was the moment Nine people trapped were rescued from their sinking building by men from the Lagos State Fire Service. The rescued victims are all in stable condition while rescue operations have been concluded with the evacuation of all at risk.
