Newborn in Peru test positive for coronavirus

A baby born on Wednesday in Moyobamba, San Martín, has become the first case in Peru where contagion through the placenta was confirmed. The birth occurred in the early hours of the morning on April 15th via C-section with strict biosecurity measures in place for the surgical intervention.
