Coronavirus: Kano lockdown takes effect

The streets of Kano, Nigeria's second-largest city, are deserted as a result of the total lockdown ordered by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. The decision was taken to avoid the spread of COVID 19 in Kano. Kano state has 21 confirmed cases after Abuja 67 and Lagos 251, respectively.
