Thank you for the music: ABBA return after 40-year hiatus

Anni, Benny, Bjorn and Agnetha are back. Four decades after they were last in the charts, the Swedish superstars are releasing their new album "Voyage". The foursome will also be staging a virtual concert in a custom-built arena in London in the spring of 2022.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared a national state of disaster over the deadly floods on the east coast, warning that rebuilding even basic services will take time. Around the city of Durban, at least 443 people have died, with 48 still missing. Some 10,000 troops have been deployed to help restore power and water and search for the missing.

After two years of cancelled events due to the pandemic, it was severe storms that disrupted the opening of one of France's biggest music festivals. The gates of Les Eurockéennes had only been open for 20 minutes when heavy rain and strong gusts of wind brought down multiple trees across the Belfort event, damaged some of the equipment on site and left several of the early festivalgoers injured.
